1. Our Commitment to Copyright

STEMBridge Tools respects the intellectual property rights of others. All written content, step-by-step explanations, and educational material published on this website is original work created by the STEMBridge Tools team. We do not reproduce, copy, or republish content from textbooks, third-party websites, or any other copyrighted source without permission.

If you believe that content appearing on stembridgetools.netlify.app infringes a copyright you hold or represent, you may submit a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. We will review every valid notice promptly and take appropriate action.

2. What the DMCA Covers

The DMCA provides a process for copyright owners to request the removal of content that infringes their work from online platforms. To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice, you must be the copyright owner or an authorised representative acting on their behalf. Anonymous or incomplete notices cannot be processed.

Please note that submitting a false or misleading DMCA notice is a serious matter. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including legal costs.

3. How to Submit a Takedown Notice

To file a DMCA takedown notice with STEMBridge Tools, send a written notice to thestembridgechannel@gmail.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice". Your notice must include all of the following:

• Your full legal name and contact information, including your email address and postal address.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list is acceptable.
• The exact URL(s) on stembridgetools.netlify.app where the allegedly infringing material appears. General descriptions are not sufficient — please provide direct links.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
• Your electronic or physical signature.

Notices that are missing any of the above elements may be rejected or returned for completion before we can act on them.

4. How We Respond

Upon receiving a complete and valid DMCA notice, we will:

• Review the claim to confirm that the notice meets the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).
• Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material promptly if the notice is valid.
• Notify the person who posted the content (if applicable) that the material has been removed due to a copyright claim.
• Document the notice as required by law.

We aim to respond to all valid notices within 5 business days. Complex cases may take longer.

5. Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe that content was removed from STEMBridge Tools as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must be sent to thestembridgechannel@gmail.com and must include:

• Your full legal name, email address, and postal address.
• Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which STEMBridge Tools may be found.
• Your electronic or physical signature.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed content within 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action to restrain the activity.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

STEMBridge Tools maintains a strict repeat infringer policy. In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), we will terminate the accounts or access of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright in appropriate circumstances. A repeat infringer is anyone who has had content removed in response to more than one valid DMCA notice.
